Why Donations Matter

My name is Laurent, I am 40 years old, and I have been through difficult times. I have gone through a separation and I am the father of two wonderful boys. I don’t have them with me all the time, but every second weekend, they are with me. I take them to football on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, but right now, I can’t do it as often because I can't afford the gas. It’s hard for me to ask for help, but the situation has gotten so bad that I no longer know how to move forward. I can barely afford anything, and I live every day uncertain of how to support my family.

In my youth, I made many mistakes, such as taking out loans for cars I no longer own. These mistakes led to me losing my job, and the debt just kept piling up. It’s hard to find the courage to keep going in this situation. But I know that there are people out there who are willing to help, and that’s why I’m reaching out to you. When people donate to watch others play or support platforms like TikTok, why not donate to someone who truly needs help to get their life back on track?

If this project succeeds and donations come in, I won’t just try to improve my own situation, but I will also help others who are in need. The donations will not only help me, but also those who need support. If there is enough interest and I have the chance, I would love to pay it forward and help others.
